The database (45+ pages) contains the detailed breakdown of identity along with contact/mailing preferences and is still being compiled and edited for duplications, accuracy, and geographic groupings (please do NOT resubmit the registration form if you have already completed it in the past). We estimate it will take approximately 10-15 days to finalize this process and apologize for the delay — entering and parsing data for soon to be approaching 1,000 individuals is a daunting and time consuming task. We have selected four (4) sample locations until we are able to finish compiling the information on all respondents to date so that there will be a better understanding on how the Global Directory will appear to the public. All direct contact information (e-mail) will be distributed internally to those in the specific geographic regions and no monikers/names will be included on the public website in order to afford the highest degree of anonymity. While we realize some community directories list the name and e-mail of participants as pinpoints on a map, the dangers inherit to using that information to possibly ascertain the identity of the individual are quite real. We remain committed to providing the highest level of professionalism, security, and comprehensiveness with this Global Directory and appreciate your participation.
We anticipate providing both a large global map and smaller regional maps for distribution frequencies in excess of 15-20+. A chart breaking down the specific feeding and donation preferences + identities will also be provided. Differently colored points for exclusive Donor, Therian, Otherkin, Researcher, and Supporter respondents should also be implemented, however, multiple combinations or hybrid respondents will appear in red by default.
